Today's New Adventure
Daddy and Mommy took me to Idar-Oberstein today. We ate outside at a German restaurant- I wish I could have sampled the schnitzel and pommes frites !

Nyla did not feel like going to bed last night, so we tried to tire her out in her jumper. She loves jumping! Thank you Aunt Janet!

Tonight we attended our first neighborhood picnic. Nyla was a hit...she allowed herself to be passed around to about seven different people and she was even a trooper during the loud fireworks. We feel blessed to live in this community since the people seem very friendly and family oriented.

Just some fun pics around the house...yes, for those of you who are observant (you know who you are!) I am now a brunette.

We have a beautiful seven mile walking/biking trail right near the house.

Here are some pictures from our extended Florida visit in April. Nyla's sunset picture was taken right before she did a face plant into the sand...poor thing had sand all over!

Isn't that belly and those cheeks just edible?!?!

Per request, here are some pictures of Nyla's nursery...she supervised from her crib as Mom did her best to organize and decorate.

Had a nice picnic outside with Mom today. We were just outside our house and the weather was cool, but sunny.

RICE CEREAL!
Yummy...Nyla has taken to eating solid foods very well. Now Dad gets to help feed too!

Images from a small kitchen...

Here are some pictures of our new digs. Check out that view from the kitchen window....we definitely are not in Arizona anymore!

This is the first room in the house that is somewhat put together. Pete had everything unpacked before Nyla and I arrived- he even had a fully stocked refrigerator and pantry!

Hallo from Deutschland!
Wow...we have a lot of catching up to do!
Nyla is six months old now and growing like a weed. Mom and Nyla made it to Germany last weekend and were so happy to be reunited with Daddy. Now that we have the camera and computer back, check back often for more posts!
